  1. What kinds of home health services do you offer?

    Revera provides a wide range of home care services, including nursing, personal care, home support, and therapy and rehabilitation services for clients of all ages, from newborns to seniors. That ranges from short-term help after a hospital stay, to ongoing support with day-to-day tasks and activities, to 24-hour nursing supervision. Click here for a complete list of our services.

  2. What kind of care professionals are available?

  3. How do I know what kind of home care is needed?

    Every client is unique. Our team works in partnership with clients, caregivers, family members, and health care providers to focus on meeting your specific needs. Contact us toll-free at 1-877-929-9222 to learn about the service options available to you or your loved one. A Revera specialist will discuss your situation and arrange for a free home assessment. We can then tailor a care plan just for you.

  4. Where do you provide services?

    We have 38 sites and operate across Canada in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Ontario and Quebec.

  5. When are home care services available?

    Any time, day or night - as little, as much, or as often as you need.

  6. How long have you been in business?

    Revera has been providing home health services for more than 40 years.

  7. Are your care providers insured and bonded?

    Yes. Every Revera home health employee has full insurance liability and worker’s compensation coverage.

  8. Will I have a choice of who comes to my home?

    Yes. We take great care to match our home care staff to your needs and preferences, and encourage your involvement. We’ll never send a home health professional who doesn't meet your requirements, and we’ll always accommodate any requests you may have for a change in care providers, for any reason.

  9. Will clients always receive care from the same staff?

    We try to establish long-term caregiving relationships with our clients. A strong connection and sense of trust is important to a successful home health experience.

    If a client receives home care for many hours in a day, or at different times of the day throughout the week, we may need to schedule more than one home health staff. But our goal remains the same – ensure a care relationship that satisfies you and leads to the best results.

  10. How much does home health cost?

    That depends on the nature and level of the home care services, and how often you need them. A Revera representative will assess your situation and work with you to develop a plan that meets your needs and budget. We can also tell you about any government or community-based assistance programs that may be available. Call 1-877-929-9222 to learn more or to book your free assessment.

  11. Is home health covered by the government?

    Your provincial government may cover all or a portion of your home health requirements. Each province has its own home health program, with eligibility determined by government regulations and individual need.

    Ontario – Visit your local Community Care Access Centre
    Based on eligibility, other government sources such as the Department of Veteran Affairs Canada may be able to help. If you qualify for government funding, you may not be billed by Revera for the services you receive from us. Instead, the applicable government home health program and the care provider will co-ordinate service delivery and payment directly.

  12. What if I don’t qualify for government-funded care?

    Your personal insurance or employment-based group benefits may cover the costs associated with home health. If so, your insurance provider will co-ordinate service delivery and payment.

  13. How do I arrange for care?

  14. What is Revera’s policy to ensure accessibility for people with disabilities?

    Revera is committed to excellence in serving all customers, including people with disabilities.  In Ontario for example, we have a formal policy in place as per the customer service standard under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005.
