At Revera, we are committed to operating our long term care homes with transparency and accountability. All of our homes have Family and Resident Councils that provide opportunities to stay engaged in all aspects of the home.  

 

Families play a significant role as partners in the care of their loved ones living in a long term care home. 

 

We respect residents' families and value their contributions and involvement. We encourage them to participate in the home's Family Council, which exists as a separate, autonomous organization, and has proven very effective in building strong ties between families, residents and our teams.   

Every resident in one of our long term care homes is invited to join the Resident Council. These councils are for residents only and provide them with an opportunity to discuss their home and any improvements they would like to see. The Resident’s Council may be supported by staff or volunteers.
