Corporate responsibility
Revera is passionate about making a difference; we believe it is important to contribute to meaningful corporate social responsibility initiatives. Through Revera Giving, we support the charities and causes that matter most to our employees, our residents, and the families that support us. Together, we help to create meaningful and lasting impacts in the communities where we live, work and play.
Through our Age is More program, Revera challenges ageism and its negative attitudes, stereotypes and preconceptions. More than simply shedding light on ageism, Age is More showcases and celebrates the ageless spirit of people.
The Revera Giving program supports the causes and organizations that matter most to our employees, residents and their families, and the communities where we work and live. In 2018, Revera partnered with Habitat for Humanity Canada and have raised more than $1 million towards helping families across Canada achieve affordable homeownership. Revera is also a proud partner of The Royal Canadian Legion.
Revera encourages and recognizes employees who want to give back to local charities to help make their communities stronger. Through Revera’s From the Heart Program, employees are eligible for a grant to volunteer personal time in support of a registered charity.
Everyone should have a decent and affordable home

Revera is proud to be one of Habitat for Humanity Canada's largest corporate sponsors. Since announcing this partnership in 2018, Revera has raised and donated more than $1 million in funds, services and goods in support of Habitat who bring communities together to help families build strength, stability and independence through affordable homeownership.

As part of our Age is More initiative, we are proud to partner with Reel Youth for the Age is More Film Project. Our shared mission is to celebrate the ageless spirit of older adults and bring together the young and the young at heart. Together, these two generations of people tell their own stories and form new inter-generational relationships, which has resulted in the production of more than 200 short films featuring Revera’s residents. The films are premiered throughout the year at gala events, which are live streamed via Facebook. Follow Revera on Facebook to learn more about these events.

Revera shares C.A.R.P.’s (Canadian Association for Retired Persons) vision to improve the aging experience for Canadian seniors and is committed to advocating against ageism. Through our original research reports, we celebrate the achievements and accomplishments of older adults and recognize the valuable contributions seniors make to our society. Our goal is to inform and advance dialogue that challenges ageism. Through our partnership with C.A.R.P., members receive a $2,000 Move-In Bonus* when they move into a Revera Retirement Living Home.

Revera is a proud partner of the Royal Canadian Legion, an organization committed to making a difference in the lives of Veterans and their families, who provide essential services in our communities, and help Canadians to remember the men and women who sacrificed for our country. The Legion understands the importance of honouring past sacrifices and acknowledging the courage of those who served and still serve today, and so do we.
